St. Tinney Farm is located approximately 2 hours drive south of Bristol on the North Cornish Coast, just 4.5 miles from the sea in the tiny rural hamlet of Otterham, about 1.5 miles from the main A39 Atlantic Highway.

The short drive from the main road to Otterham from the A39 is rural single carriageway with passing places. We recommend that visitors to St. Tinney bring some form of transport with them, local bus services are now very infrequent in the area.

Please note – Between the 10/05/24 and 17/05/24 you may find a temporary road diversion in place. The BLUE route is the normal way to reach St. Tinney from teh A39 main road, however there is a temporary diversion in place as a section of the lane indicated in RED has been closed by Highways for maintenance works. You will therefore need to take the signposted Diversion Route indicated in GREEN.

How to find us from the direction of Bude on the A39

Take A39 signposted Wadebridge, drive through the village of Wainhouse corner on the A39. 11 miles from Bude, after a short stretch of uphill dual carriageway, when you reach the brow of the hill you will see a sign for Otterham village. Turn left, then follow the road to your right, then take the first turning on your right, following the road around through Churchtown farm, following the brown signs to St. Tinney Farm.

How to find us from the direction of Launceston on the A30

By-pass Launceston on the A30 and then take the A395, signposted North Cornwall. Drive 8 miles to Hallworthy, take the second turning on the right signposted Otterham Station. Follow this road until you come to the main junction with the A39. Turn right continuing on the main road until the brow of the hill, where you will see St. Tinney Farm signposted on a brown tourist sign. Turn right, following the road around to the right. Then take the first turning on your right, following the road around through Churchtown farm, following the brown signs to St. Tinney Farm.

Our nearest railway station is located at Bodmin Parkway, approximately 25 miles away.

Local bus service

There is an infrequent local bus service from Otterham Station on the A39 which is approximately 2 mile walk up, via single track country lanes and teh main A39 from St. Tinney. Please see the Transport for Cornwall website and confirm the bus timetable with them directly, for accurate details
