The legend goes that the wizard Merlin once lived in the sea cave beneath Tintagel Castle. Merlin’s Cove beach is a fantastic visit- embark on an adventure down the winding path to the little cove and explore the atmospheric cave and the magical waterfall.

Close to St. Tinney, the long stretch of sand has space for all sorts of activities. The windy beach is popular among surfers, beginner to advanced, so come and catch a wave! In the summer, the bay has full lifeguard cover, meaning safe fun for all swimming abilities
